Application
KOH is the main raw material to produce Potassium Salt, such as Potassium Permanganate and potassium carbonate. In medicine line, it is used in producing Potassium borohydride, spironolactone, batyl alcohol, progesterone and testosterone propionate, etc. In light Industry, it is used in making soap, alkaline battery and Cosmetics. In Dye line, it can produce Vat dyes. It also used in plating and engraving in Electrochemical industry. It is important material in printing and dyeing, bleaching and mercerizing, and to make synthetic fiber and polyester fiber. Besides, it is used as Metallurgical heating agent and leather degreasing agent.
