Having a 32ha plot that we intend to fully utilise, we are a family hoping to fully function on land produce, slowly developing due to financial constraints but hope to be a chief, self sustaining supplier and employer in agriculture and eventually manufacturing. We already have a couple of cattle, goats chicken, turkeys and intend to add a piggery project. Irrigation at small scale commences this winter meaning we will add 4 more farm workers to the existing 4. Chicken run in place accommodates 800 broilers, chicken feed is supplimented by part of the 4ha maize grown oon the farm. Under construction are two shelters for mushroom growing. In place is a bann for curing of the tobacco which is now on 4ha (doubling evey year)
We are regularly Selling: chicken, vegetables, crops eg maize, tobacco.
We are regularly Buying: chicken feed, fertilisers, farm implements. |
