Amla is a wonder herb and one of the precious gifts of nature to man which is also called as Divya and Amrut.The English name of 'amla' Indian gooseberry denotes that it is indigenous to India. Its light green fruit and grows on a small tree which is found in wet forests of hill areas throughout the Indian subcontinent and also cultivated.
