THT jointing systems are PATENTED and of superior quality. Our systems are easy to use, providing for trouble free accessible and reusable joint enclosures that can withstand severe temperatures (-20 to 90*C) as well as most acids and chemicals. The system has proved to be highly efficient in applications in all areas, both pressurized and local. (The first installed joint enclosure is still in use today)

The system provides for any size of cable or any combination of cables up to the available size, (There are different sizes available). The length of the joint is also of no importance as the Technician can manipulate the system to accommodate almost any scenario. The system can also be used to provide for test points on local cables which eliminates the problem of having to cut out a resin filled joint when all the cable pairs are faulty, the system can make block joints, fork joints and repair damaged cables that otherwise would have to be replaced at high cost. Existing working cables can be repaired without any interruption of services.

The system consists of two parts. Bullets that are cast unto/around the cable at both ends of the joined wires and a casing consisting of two halves that is clamped onto/around the bullets. This provides for an airtight joint enclosure that allows and provides for repeated access at virtually no extra cost. No special training or tools are needed which also ensures low expenditure and effective easy working.
