Yahia Sayed Omar owner and President of Y.S.O established in early 1969, is one of the largest Private organizations in exporting Ethiopian Agricultural Products, mainly Spices, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Natural Produce. With a location within the heart of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa & in the most strategic area of the business district - MERKATO - the largest open-air market in Africa. Our organization employs 32 permanent personnel of managerial and secretarial levels. During the harvest season, between 200 to 300 are employed on contract basis, supervised by strict quality control procedures to clean, pack and prepare quality commodities for the international market. Our own cleaning processes of Machine dressing and Handpicking for grading purposes pass through special quality control phases with the quality control system being perfected increasingly.
