Duratech Trading is a business founded out of the need to establish a procurement arm to the Duratech
Licensee Group of Duratech South Africa, Duratech Africa and Duratech International.
Its purpose was the creation of a secure supply chain of products required by the Duratech group
operations where these are not obtainable locally or where preferential pricing, quality or technology
makes the import of such products favoured. It must constantly be viewed therefore in the light of the entire group vision and strategy.
It has grown however into an international company in its own right and while still fulfilling its original function to the group, has established itself as a key player in the commodity training business, with a
wide range of product mandates, ranging from cement and clinker, to urea, timber, steel, coal, fuels, as
well as various mineral products and foodstuffs.
